"Rest of the World" Pipes
Note: unless otherwise noted, photographs were taken against a background of 1" squares
Lannes Johnson Danish Poker. About a year old and in lightly smoked condition. No issues. This pipe is unstamped, as was much of Mr. Johnson's work; the third picture was taken by Mr. Johnson when he put the pipe up for sale. $55
Pipeworks by Elliott Nachwalter. Sort of a Danish-looking, freehand something-or-other. Stampings are "Pipeworks New York City" on the left and "Made by Hand, Elliott Nachwalter 85" on the right. The paintfill is somewhat faint in the snowflake logo on the stem. $60
Perkins "Golden Dane" Freehand. A big, sturdy freehand with pretty decent grain all around. I suspect this may have been carved by the Preben Holm studio, just because of the way that "Hand Made in Denmark" is stamped (see the closeup), but who knows? Anyway, it's a nice pipe. One toothmark on the top of the stem, and one on the bottom. $45
Stanwell "Legend" Horn. This one's a couple years old and somewhat lightly smoked. It's shape 217; I think of this as one of the signature shapes of the current Stanwell line. Includes box and sock. $40
