Welcome to JAGWAL, specializing in pipe tampers featuring exotic and unusual woods.  When I started making tampers, a friend asked if my products would be similar to the work being done by other makers.  My response was something along the lines of "naaah, those guys are artists ... me, I'm just a guy with a lathe."

And so, JAGWAL was born.  My goal is to make an attractive, functional product that will provide years of service.  I love to work with wood, and have tried to select woods that are interesting both in appearance and texture.
